Thurs 1/15 9 to 10:30 am PST Intl Service Collaboration & Saturday 1/24 9 to 10:30 am Community Needs Assessment!!

We have some exciting sessions coming up in January and February!

Next Thursday Jan 15th 9-10:30 am PST, we're hosting Dr. Nevine Abdelkhalek, of Rotary Club El Tahrir, who I had the pleasure of meeting at the Calgary RI Convention last year. She has participated as a CADRE of Technical Advisors since 2016. Her talk in Calgary was standing room only.  You'll hear about case studies from her visits to GG sites and how we can improve our Global Grant design to ensure longer term impact for our education and literacy projects. 

Due to the time zone difference with Egypt, I've had to reschedule our meeting to the morning of next Thursday, January 15th 9 to 10:30 am.  Apologies for any conflicts and/or inconvenience! Please try to make this meeting. I promise it will be enlightening!

Then, the following week, on Saturday January 24th 9 to 10:30 am our District Grant Review Team will lead the training session on Community Needs Assessment, a critical element that starts the ball rolling on any grant, Global or District.  Too many of our Rotary Grants have fallen short of our impact goals because we haven't conducted a good needs assessment...and asked the communities we want to serve what they need and how to fill their needs.
