Dear D5170 International Service Colleagues,
I’ve scheduled a final meeting for this 2025-2026 Rotary Year this coming Thursday, 5/21 before we leave for the RICon in Taipei.
Please make some time to check in and share your thoughts on meeting and training sessions (this past year as well as your interests next year) and share any comments or recommendations to me for next year (do not reply all to save other members from having to sift through hundreds of emails!).
There will be no more Training sessions this month and we’re leaving June for all the Roast/Toast and KickOuts/Ins for our District and all of our Clubs.
Please bring your favorite happy hour drink (cocktail/wine/beer/soda/water/tea) and join the zoom discussion! And, as for all our meetings, feel free to invite others in your Clubs to join us, including any of your colleagues interested in international service activity next Rotary Year. If there's no Chair - no worries, feel free to forward to your Presidents, President Elects, …any of your colleagues interested in international service!
AGs and Grant review subcommittee - please feel free to invite any D5170 Rotarians who are interested in international service! Would love to grow the collaboration!
Our cocktail banter?
- Your perspectives on our Thursday afternoon international service collaborative meetings and Saturday morning training sessions. See listing of 2025-2026 DIS Meeting and Training Sessions below to jog your memories. Which meetings/trainings did you like? Why? Which ones were not that helpful? What can we do to make these monthlies better?
- What are you and your club interested in? International District Grants? Global Grants? Evaluating others’ Global Grants to make decisions? Rotarian travel for service?
- Any other questions/thoughts?
