dg2029-30@rotarydistrict5170.orgDr. Sangita Seshadri (Ph.D.) is a member of the Rotary Club of Saratoga, where she joined in 2015 following a Rotaplast medical mission to Guatemala. She served as Club President in 2021–22, earning the Distinguished Club President recognition, and has received the Rotarian of the Year and World Peace and Understanding awards in recognition of her contributions to Rotary and service. She has held several leadership roles at the club and district levels, including Assistant Governor, Lieutenant Governor, District Grants Subcommittee member, and District Learning Assembly Chair. She currently serves as Chair of the Rotaplast International Board and is actively involved in The Rotary Foundation and international service initiatives.
A passionate advocate for collaboration and community impact, Sangita believes in empowering clubs and members, fostering meaningful partnerships, and turning shared vision into sustainable action.
Professionally, Sangita is a senior pharmaceutical development consultant with over 25 years of industry experience spanning drug discovery, development, and commercialization. She has held leadership positions in the biotechnology industry and supported pharmaceutical clients across the United States, Europe, and Japan in advancing innovative therapies. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Sangita looks forward to working alongside District 5170 clubs and leaders to strengthen membership, expand service, and create lasting impact in communities locally and around the world.
