What is this contest?
Who can enter?
| Grade level: Students in grades 9–12 | Length: 4–5 minutes |
| School: Any public or private high school in District 5170 | Theme: Must connect to “Service Above Self” |
| One contest only: Each student may enter a single club contest | Required: Speech must reference all four principles of the Four-Way Test |
| Original work: The speech must be the student's own writing | No self-ID: Speaker/school may not be identified in the speech |
How it works

Club
Compete at your local Rotary club. Winner advances.

Area
Club winners from a group of clubs compete together.

Regional
Top Area finishers compete in North or South region.
4
District Finals
Top Regional finishers compete for the district title.
